On April 3, 2023, in the A1 auditorium of the Faculty of Economics, a cooperation agreement was signed between the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi” and the Academy of Sciences of Albania. Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Suzana Golemi said in the opening speech that the signing of this agreement will promote cooperation and mutual exchanges of professors, scientific researchers at university and post-graduate level, it will also influence cooperation and the encouragement of exchanges between the University of Shkodra and the Academy of Sciences.

The academician, Prof. Dr. Skender Gjinushi, after signing the agreement, held an open lecture on the topic: "In the field of functional analysis".
