On March 29, 2023, the Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Environment Resource Center in Albania, represented by Mr. Mihallaq Qirjo, and the University of Shkodra 'Luigj Gurakuqi', represented by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Suzana Golemi.
This was a result of a continuous communication and cooperation between the institutions and will serve the exchange of experiences and knowledge, the development of joint initiatives and activities in the field of environment and climate change in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The parties discussed the active and continuous involvement of academic experts, students in scientific research, field work as well as the design of national and international projects. Facing the challenges of climate change and young people's approach to these changes, finding sustainable alternatives became the focus of discussion in an open lecture with the students at our University.
